Where You Drink Champagne and It Tastes Just Like Cherry-Cola

This my 250th photo! *roaring cheers and much back slapping. Time to par-tay!

 Friends - 19/10

This is from the intersection that my friend the Window Washer Guy is usually at. He has been absent of late. Maybe finally kicked off. I particularly like the 'girl' in the middle with her rock hard pecs and abs. Naked people, flares, wedge heels, trans-gender folk. Crazy party.

With your raincoat on

Rainy, rainy day in Sydney. Have to admire the insanity commitment of Window Washer Guy though.

Keeping it real - 10/08

He is not even doing it for the petition anymore.

ALSO: Silver Bullet blog has finally been updated.
.... and another thing.... this is my 180th day doing this 365 project. Perhaps people can commemorate the occasion with a bit of a comment???

Its Alive!!!

Thursday night was 'Lighting of the Sails' which was the first night of the VIVID Festival. This year is all about Gov. Macquarie and the 200th Anniversary of Sydney's first 'power couple' (quoted from VIVID website!) Each building has theme and St Marys Cathedral was 'Designing The Nation'.

The good looking fellow himself - 27/05

Also lit up is The Mint, Sydney Library, Old Parliament House and Opera House. MCA wasn't included this year for some reason. All the building display pictures relating to different themes.

A dinner in Chinatown on Friday night and a walk through Chinatown markets can turn up some wonderful gifts. How about a Colonel Obama bucket for your tissues?

Secret herbs and spices included - 28/05

Missed uni yesterday because of a cracking headache so I made the trip in the rain to get more library books.
Mmmm Mother 29/05

Rain makes me a little sleepy too.

Also, the Window Washer Guy is being kicked from his post at Parra Rd & Johnston St. I signed his petition to keep him there. He goes all out with costumes and decorations.

You might not ever get rich, but let me tell ya it's better than diggin' a ditch

The elusive Window Washer Guy! Finally stopped at the traffic light at Parramatta Rd and Johnston St and was able to have my window washed by him. Took a photo of him doing it and he said you want a photo? and posed. I only had a small amount of shrapnel and gave that over. He scoffed and my pittance until he realised there was a dollar coin in there. Window Washer Guy was a nice jovial homeless man in my imagination.

Poser. He has been getting more dressed up recently - 04/05

More driving. Another photo taken whilst I drive. I am enjoying the taking of photos on the fly.

ANZAC Bridge - 05/05

I'm finally listening to some Sigur Ros. I have heard about them from various places and only just remembered to look them up, very nice sweet music.

Day at the beach

Saturday was a scorcher, which was great because it was a beach day. I went to Manly Beach to cheer on some friends playing Beach Volleyball for the Corporate Games. After a bit of a drive to Manly and then a long drive around Manly to find parking I finally made it on to the beach.

Manly Beach approx 10am - 20/03

Beach steadily got busy during the day, but we mainly stuck to the courts. Went for a quick dip after hearing about all the rips and bluebottles in the water, didn't see any bluebottles but could feel the strong current and got out. After finishing the games we went to the pub for some food where we heard the shark alarm go off. Manly really did put it all on.

Girl with a bottle cap stuck on her back

Team Double Drummer won one game from three, steadily got better during the matches. I didn't run on and lend my skills, I took a few photos and realised that my camera doesn't take movement very well and I can't really stand heat - high UV that day.

Mmmmm, Gelato

P and I cool off with some gelato at Messina in Darlinghurst. P got the Pavlova and I got the Banana Bread. Both very fantastic, a bit pricey at $4 a bucket but worth because they actually taste like what the say.

After a full day in the sun on Saturday I woke with a headache on Sun morning. I didn't go to the St Patrick's Day parade or the Greek Festival as planned. I did however get another shot of the window washer guy on the corner of Parramatta Rd and Johnston St Annandale.

Seen here in his Viking hat - 21/03
