Wind It Up!

Determined to be more regular with this updating thing instead of faffing about on the net looking for trinkets and at my photos, I'll put them on here more often!

That's my resolution for 2012.

Made by a work colleague for the kids Christmas party

That and to have at least half, if not all, of the A-Towns done by the end of 2012. Major claim. So far, I have done 23 out of 122. Not 'done' as in been to all of them. I think there is at least four that I won't be going to because they are in the middle of nowhere. I am also car-less now and for the foreseeable future so that has put a bit of a dint in the plans. May just have to rename it Great Train Journeys instead of A-Towns

Have a fantastic Christmas!

Hello, how ya doin?

I'm still here. Thought I'd get with times and start using my fancy phone to update the blog.

I catch the train to work now which is a bit over 2 hours round trip which was a pain at first but I've been using the time now to knock over heaps of books and knit.

At the moment I'm knitting my sister a scarf for Christmas.

I'm on holidays from the end of this week until 8th of Jan as my office shuts down over the holidays. Should get a few A-Towns done.

A Church House Gin House

The culinary delight below is the 'Lots-a-tots' meal which can only be enjoyed at Hooters.

Tater tots covered with bacon, cheese sauce, sour cream and chives.

If you can manage to get past the horrendous outfits the girls have to wear and the offensive décor you can enjoy the service at Hooters which was quite nice and welcoming, everyone yells 'welcome to Hooters' as you walk in. This was shared between three but I may have had a coronary after.
