On the road again

Drove home for Nan's 80th on the Friday morning.

Drive was fine. Got bored at around Lithgow and had to pull over for coffee

Cool little cartoons on the old milkbar

Never noticed these cartoons before, but I did this time from my car, while driving at 50km. There were more on the other side but there was a few cars blocking my way to get to them and I didn't think it smart to stand in traffic.

Nan's bathroom. On her sink.

My Nan is like most Nan's I think. She has an excessive amount of lace and frill in the bathroom, and it also has more than it's share of trinkets. On the sink near the taps was a blue thing hugging a nail scrubber, another nail scrubber pretending to be a crocodile and a Ren (from Ren & Stimpy) in a bath. In the cartoon Ren is in the bath and farts to create bubbles. It even has "Ahhhhhh!" written on the side. I found it hilarious that my Nan stands there everyday in front of it and washes her hands.
