It wasn't an overly sunny day. Pretty lucky we got on the boat and didn't have to stand on the island in the rain, or have to stand on the jetty while all my friends got on the ferry and waved me off like one unlucky lady did!

We'll Be Playin' and Havin' Fun
Cockatoo Island is becoming a bit of a cultural hub for Sydney. I first went to the island for the Nick Cave curated concert All Tomorrow's Parties in 2009. Outpost! Was an 'urban art' (graffiti) exhibition held on the island and gave me a good chance to visit the island again and finally check out the Island Bar.
It wasn't an overly sunny day. Pretty lucky we got on the boat and didn't have to stand on the island in the rain, or have to stand on the jetty while all my friends got on the ferry and waved me off like one unlucky lady did!
